INTERNATIONAL HOLISTIC HEALTH ASSOCIATION
|
| |
The International Holistic Health
Association (IHHA) was started in 1989 as it recognised the
emerging awareness, need and practice of Holistic and Integrated
Medicine. Drawing from various systems of healing from across the
globe, including ancient, traditional and modern practices,
Holistic Medicine has widened the scope of treatment, making it
effective, safe and affordable.
The growth involves an openness and acceptance of different systems
of medicine and a continuous global education and exchange of
healing systems that are little or less well known. The approach to
healing should be patient oriented rather than system oriented.
This cooperative inter-dialogue amongst global practitioners of
Holistic and Integrated Medicine is crucial in the EVOLUTION of
health care for the individual and HARMONY FOR THE PLANET ON WHICH
WE LIVE.
